Kishan Singh, Bhai

One of the Nankana Sahib Martyrs (D. 1921)


Son of Bhai Sundar Singh and Mata Nihal Kaur, a Mazhabi Sikh couple, of Rattoke village in Amritsar district, later migrating to Burj, district Lyallpur, was a young initiated Singh and the granthi (custodian) of Gurdwara Mazhabi Singh in his village. He was only about 20 years old when he joined Bhai Lachhman Singh's jatha and attained martyrdom inside the compound of Gurdwara Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahib on 20 February 1921.
