'Probyn's Horse'- Major Probyn
On the left Probyn wears
winter campaign dress with turban and medals, one of which
is his VC. His pouchbelt is the undress version with no
chain decoration on the edges. He has dark gauntlets and
polished Napoleon boots. The other picture shows him bare
headed but with a plumed helmet on the table. His pouchbelt
is the full dress version with chained edges. His uniform
is a blue alkalak with gold lace and braid sleeve decoration.
His boots are tight fitting patent leather. He has a sabretache
with almost plain leather front but edged in lace.
